Devotional #13
The Psalms point us to Jesus, the promised King who fulfills God’s redemptive plan. Some passages, like Psalm 89 and Psalm 110, explicitly declare His eternal reign. Others, like Psalm 16, reveal subtle patterns of deliverance seen throughout Scripture. David, like Joseph and Moses before him, prefigured the Messiah—one who would suffer, be exalted, and rule forever. This reminds us that God is always at work, bringing His purposes to completion. No sin or exile can separate us from His redemption. As we trust in Christ, the fulfillment of these promises, we find unshakable hope in His reign and return.
