Unity in the body of Christ is not optional—it’s essential. In 1 Corinthians 1:1-17, Paul emphasizes that Christ alone is the foundation of our unity, mentioning His name 13 times in 17 verses. Divisions arise when we elevate people or preferences above Christ. Paul’s question, “Has Christ been divided?” (v. 13), challenges us to reject factions and unite under the gospel. This call to be of the same mind and judgment (v. 10) is not just Paul’s wish but Christ’s command. Today, commit to fostering unity by centering your life on Jesus. He is the only true source of peace and togetherness.
